Born on 23rd February 1948, in Savannah-La-Mar, Westmoreland and christened at the local church where his father served as preacher, Kenneth Farquharson aka Ken Parker demonstrated his vocal prowess from an early age, with gospel and the R&B sounds played on local radio stations providing the main source of inspiration.
