Superb vinyl reissue of the sought after 1983 Jah Mel album, produced by Roydale Anderson, who used the Wailers to build the riddims, and pretty much ignored at the time – except by Small Axe’s Ray Hurford who eulogised it in his fanzine.  Watchful Eyes is a sweet and soulful collection of rub-a-dub and roots that puts one in mind of Sugar Minotts work of the period, or Judah Eskender Tafari.
